Wallflower Valet

4 ft. wide, 8 ft. tall

Bent-laminated plywood, door peephole, sheepskin, antique wallpaper (2013)

Wallflower Valet is a bent-laminated pocket that attaches to a wall meant to conceal an individual looking to separate and seek refuge from a social situation. While inside, wallflowers can feel comforted by sheepskin that lines the interior, and can conveniently spy on the outside world through an embedded peephole.
